the staff were genuinely sweet and well-meaning. i really enjoyed the taco bar on the beach, they make the world's best tacos. the drinks were also good, not overly watered down like some other resorts. daily cleaning service was excellent too.

i was placed in a room that differed significantly from what i had booked. i booked a large room with a private balcony and had asked for a high floor. i was placed on ground level, in a small room, without a private balcony. the food was about average. the restaurants could not accommodate the volume of guests. the better restaurant had a very long wait each night and did not accept reservations.

The food was great, and the service was also excellent. There were a good number of restaurant options. I liked the lunch booth options by the pool each day. The resort recommended a snorkeling trip to Puerto Maya that was fun. We drove our speed boats through mangroves and then snorkeled.

The entertainment team was great . they are all inviting and friendly. i did participate in almost every event they have. Front desk workers are all very friendly. All the servers were amazing.

the music at the pool was very loud. i get entertainment is normal, but it was too loud. it was very loud every night, and i could not watch tv. Even with earplugs, it was not possible to sleep.

I was very impressed with the variety of restaurant options. the lunch booths by the pool were very convenient. the beaches were lovely with calm and wavey days. the resort also recommended a snorkeling trip to puerto maya. Pick up was at the hotel. we drove our own speed boats through mangroves and then we snorkeled.

the reservation process for the spa was inconvenient. reservations were required, though it was practically empty all the time. it would be better if they allowed a limited number of people in without reservations. this would help guests to enjoy it more freely.
